Our Portfolio

For more than 25 years, the principal architect has actively pursued his interest in sustainable architecture. These case studies highlight a few instances of thoughtful design being used to address current generational needs without jeopardizing those of future ones.  Take a moment to view some of our latest projects.

SAFFERSTEIN PROJECT

This tile-roofed stone house needed a new façade to help it stand out on the street. A modestly-sized tower addition provides a new master bath and dressing room and a small mudroom leads to the new family room which was fashioned from a former porch. The existing stone and roof tiles were matched to pull together the new and the old.

HADDAD PROJECT

A two-story addition and flagstone terrace was grafted onto an existing Tudor-style residence. A large 750 square foot greatroom is the focal point and features arched French doors, stained wood ceiling beams, and an ornate fireplace and mantelpiece. Extensive interior renovations enlarged the kitchen and added a butler’s pantry and casual dining area.

LAKE MACLEOD PROJECT

This 3,500 square foot home was designed to illustrate energy-efficient building methods and technologies and a Craftsman-style aesthetic to potential builders in this suburban Florida development. Structural insulated panels were used for the walls and roof. A partial timber frame knits together the living areas and timber trusses support the cathedral ceiling in the master suite.

THOMPSON PROJECT

This 4,000 square foot home is a deluxe version of the standard end unit in an 88-unit patio home development near Boston for which we designed several models. My clients asked for additional bedrooms, an expanded master suite, and more open living areas. The side entry was enclosed and a large porch with outdoor fireplace and skylights added for entertaining.
